Join the 999 Fundraising Challenge

Join the fundraising fun by completing your own '999 Fundraising Challenge' to support our amazing ambulance staff and volunteers.

What do I do?

Just pick 3 different things and do them 9 times each.

You could... bake 9 cakes, walk 9 miles and learn how to spot 9 different species of bird for example.

Why 9 and 9 and 9?

It is important to remember the number 999. You may need to use a phone to call 999 if someone is very sick or injured and needs an ambulance to take them to hospital.

How do I raise money?

  • Ask people to sponsor you to complete your challenge.

  • Or you could sell things that you make.

  • Or you could earn money by doing jobs for others.

How do I get started?

To get your 999 Fundraising Challenge Sheet

email charity@swast.nhs.uk and we will send

one to you by email or post.

Set up your JustGiving fundraising page to collect donations.

Go! Get started, tell people what you are doing and ask them to support you.

When do I do it?

You can do your 999 Fundraising Challenge at any time.

It could be fun to do in the school Easter or Summer holidays, but anytime is OK.

Can adults do the 999 Fundraising Challenge?

Absolutely! This challenge is for young people and the young at heart. Just pick challenging activities to maximise your fundraising.

Thank You!

To show our appreciation for your time, efforts and fabulous fundraising, we will send you a wonderful Certificate of Thanks.

Do tell us when you've finished your challenge by emailing us at charity@swast.nhs.uk .

It would be lovely if you could also send us a picture of your 999 Challenge Sheet and of you doing your challenges. We'd love to see all the wonderful things you have been doing.
