The League of Friends of Fairford Hospital Assist Emergency Lifting Chair Campaign

The South Western Ambulance Charity and the South Western Ambulance Service NHS Foundation Trust (SWASFT) would like to thank the League of Friends of Fairford Hospital and the Gresham-Wells Trust for their generous donation of £2,984.17 to fund the purchase of a Raizer Lifting Chairs for the Fairford and Lechlade Community First Responder group.

Equipping a Community First Responder with an emergency lifting chair will enable early assistance to a patient who has experienced a non-injury fall, and reduce potential complications associated with long lies. This also helps ensure the most appropriate allocation of emergency services resources.

The South Western Ambulance Charity are fundraising to provide Raizer Lifting chairs to our Community First Responder groups within the South West. This generous gift is helping us to reach our goal and enable us to go the extra mile for the communities we serve.
